We create our own luck. The ancient Chinese told of the 10 Lucky states of wealth creation. Wiser men and women have taught that many times through the ages. And yet, that is so misunderstood luck appears to be out of reach. Is it really? I think not. It’s all a state of mind. What you think you have is what you get. So how do we all become lucky?

A Luck Symbol Chinese use
Luck Is Wealth
Being lucky to those who are is the way life should be. It’s so simple to them as they go through life like a magician manifesting everything they need and want. Luck has become their wealth. Obviously, they are the envy of the rest of the neighbourhood. Yet to the rest of the population the luck that they all want is only a pipe dream. Is that the truth or are they missing something?
Like I said before, it’s about the mindset. But perhaps it is a better way that I relate to you what the ancient Chinese wealth builders say about being lucky. These are the 10 wealth builder’s luck.
Here Are The 10 Lucky States of Wealth Creation
1) Family
Family is wealth. When all goes well, and the marriage is doing well, it is heavenly. Your children do well in school, your business is humming along, your health is great, people all respect you and society welcomes you.
Then when things get bad, you’re always fighting with your family, the children cause endless problems, one or both spouses have their fling, the business crashes, health is destroyed, stress is unbearable, the house is lost, the cars are repossessed, divorce lawyers and the hospital ate up the rest of the assets.
This happens far more often than most people realize, until it happens to them. So build a family to stay happily together. This is a significant life long strategy for wealth building.
2) Friends
Friends have a close or professional relationship and mutual respect with me.
Blood remains thicker than water but sometimes that water or friends will sustain you in times of need far better than your own blood or relatives.
Often, warriors or people put together in a survival of their common difficulty will call each other brother or sister. It is a common bond that can develop between friends. A bond so strong that it is said their souls that formed a bond.
Having a lot of friends in the business world and in society is a great resource of ideas, knowledge help and your general progress through life as you build your wealth.
3) Health
Health is very much wealth.
Let’s use the example of a super athlete. Sports performances at the highest degree require the athlete to be able to function at their peak every time they are required to compete against their peers. The sports person may be a tennis player of golfer or even a formula one driver, and may the best man or woman win.
And the winnings can be highly lucrative. Whole industries running into the billions of dollars is the norm these days. The payoff to the winners and super stars of the sport can be enormous. Michael Schumaker of formula one fame used to command close to $90 million dollars per season.
But even the super stars eventually fade as their health or age overcame their abilities to perform at their best. Therefore, their main income is very much reliant upon their health in this example.
On the other hand, look at the struggle poor nations have with their health issues. Poverty, illness, famine, robbery, and even wars will result.
To be wealthy you must also focus or maintain your health as it will allow you the many decades you need to be productive to allow you to build your wealth.
4) Long Life
Long Life is necessary to build generational wealth. How is this important? Well let me tell you a story.
This grandfather was a great mentor and a leader in business. He grew up during very tough times and building the first family fortune with his father who mentored him, after escaping persecution in China in the early 1900’s. Being a big, strong man, he shouldered much of the family responsibilities and grew very wealthy. But the second world war struck and destroyed everything taking the lives of most of his family and that of his father.
After liberation from the Japanese, his health was poor from stress, poor food and injuries. For several years the family remained in poverty. Then as this grandfather regained his health, wealth was rebuilt very quickly, within only a couple of years, until he retired.
Perhaps more importantly, he helped his children gain their education and saw them through difficult times as they built their own lives. He most certainly imparted much of his and his ancestors’ wisdom to some of his descendants before departing. In effect, he built or was responsible in large part for the wealth of 4 generations.
5) Education
We’ve all heard about the school drop out who made good with millions if not billions of dollars in business. Well these stories are true. But, how did they do it? Where did they learn those skills from?
To begin, it very much depends on the type of education you had. Contrast a) and b) below:
a) In the regular school system, you will get many years of indoctrination into a system within society. It works for some and not for others. In fact, this system can be very inflexible to changing times.
b) Those people that have not accepted that way of life may get their education through so called non-traditional means with mentors who may be great business people themselves or any other skill sets (most people are taught skills this way).
6) Wisdom
“With what I learn, I apply it to my skill set, work and all aspects of life and teach the people important to me”.
Well, that is the sum total of all the mistakes made so that the experience will lead to the way to do something without making any og those mistakes. This wisdom also builds the character to be able to see the way through to successs, by learning from mistakes.
Wisdom is also learning that with the use of thought and desires to build on a series of goals to achieve the dream is better than the use of pure intellect alone with no desire.
7) Success
Now, stating a set of goals, or even a single targeted goal does not mean you will get there simply by providence alone.
Thoughts, desires, declarations will all be worth absolutely nothing if you do not do this: it is action.
You must make a plan of action to take step by step, of how you will get there from where you are today.
That means to achieve your goal you have to take actionable steps to get from where you are now in your success plan to begin that process to achieve, step by step until you complete your success plan.
This success plan is really an adjustable one. It must not remain static:
e.g. if a misstep occurs or you encounter unforeseen problems that need solving, you must adjust your plans accordingly to either overcome the problems or take a different approach.
The beauty of making a success plan is it allows you to create your actionable steps and see for yourself if it is possible and probable that you can complete your plan.
8) Growth
“Aspire to grow beyond my targets or my goals as I achieve them”.
You stay still and the weeds will over grow you. A tree grows ever larger because without this growth, it fails to make the necessary food and retain its strength to survive.
So it is that growth will apply to one’s mind, learning, progress and to any aspect of one’s life. There is something called inflation too. The value of money simply gets less valuable as time goes on. Growth as in the amassing of wealth is really to build a diversification of asssets that will support the changes that inevitable happen as life and demands of life changes.
Today the children of the world buy video games but tomorrow they may want space ships.
Therefore, today cash is vital but tomorrow, your overall assets like land, farms, homes or gold and silver may become far more important.
9) Prosperity
This is my financial aspiration that will positively impact the way my family and I live and also my business relationships or ownership.
This an aspect of wealth that allows one to feel the freedom of choice. Prosperity is really the outward aspect of being wealthy. People can see that you have great riches like a mansion, a series of cars, a great family, you have fine clothes and many powerful friends. You and your children are successful in all you do. There is great health and abundance that you will be associated with.
10) Money
“This is my financial aspiration that allows me to enjoy life freely”.
This is the base in which much of our lives’ enjoyment and freedoms are based. You must want money to ease your life. It supports your good life rather than being anything you should be guilty of having too much of it. Since when is doing good and enjoying your life a bad thing? That’s religious pooh, pooh!
Money is never and has never been the root of all evil. It is the use of money to cause hurt, harm and to control people that is the evil.
This is the hard and unforgiving measure of all assets. The value it holds is fixed at any one moment in time and space. At various times, its value varies depending on the place you are in.
Therefore, be in control of a way to create more money. Work with all the other states of wealth and your money will grow if you want it to. In fact they all work together as luck and wealth. The luckiest people have the most wealth.
