Great start for the New Year. What better than indulgence? If you want all that good wonderful stuff that life can offer, stop apologising to all and sundry. If you want it, go get it and stop talking to everyone else as though you’re treading on eggs. No, and being rich is not filthy. Ghetto life is not glorious. But go get so much that indulgence is actually wonderful and fun. It’s an absolute relief from appalling drudgery.
Stop The Gringe
Well, having the real pleasure of wealth is like knowing that Christmas Holidays can be had every day. Reading and listening to so many “I wish” and “Personal Development” types I am almost puking that they preach to help you get wealthy but at the same time apologise that it seems crass to get all that wealth. I say this not from too much festivities either. These ‘Gringes’ are inadvertently leading people up the creek and down the rushing waterfall.
Dream stealers are everywhere. You know them. They are rude, can’t say please or have gratitude for gifts and help. They insist they are entitled to more because they have blown everything they have. They are the very people who will tell you the value of everything but know the worth of none. Nothing is ever good enough and nothing will be because they have not by choice. And they will that you have the same as they do…absolutely nothing.
Embrace the Indulgence
To indulge simply means to enjoy your life and does not mean it is to excess at all. If you drive that Rolls Royce for example, it costs more than 10 times the average cheap family car. But, why is that an excess. It is a luxury you have won. So you have decided to entertain and dine in style with a bunch of friends to the finest foods and cognacs. Compare that to some guy spending money at a fast food joint and then blowing the rest on more toxic medication. That’s just being dumb. I’d much prefer to embrace the far better choice of so called luxury but is really the better way to live. Like I said, being deliberately impoverished is really the big sin and the huge lie taught those practicing it has bought that hook, line and sinker – their main fear being the amount of work it takes to get out of their predicament.
Notice how many articles there are out there on the internet and the open written media and even on TV that apologises for having lots just in case the have-nots pummel them with accusations of stuffing it to them? No, no apologies from me because I’ve been there…sick to death of being sick to death because of being caught between a rock and a hard place. I got away from that and intend to stay happily here. I had a choice and I made what mattered to me. I took my chances. I’m keeping it and creating more, much more.
Well, I sat in this car and loved it. And I can only urge you to go visit your dream car or dream house agent and sit in it, go drive in it or simply walk around in it. It is quite infectious this wealth building thing. I tried it once and decided to pick up and use the fishing rod.
