Ok. You’ve all heard about this one before. The old cliche that you can predict your future. It’s either through popular astrology or one of the far eastern ones like Vastu of India or Ba-Ji of the Chinese. Are the energies from the universe for you bound by their locations tied to your birth? Who knows? And really I don’t care (not that much anyway…). But what I do despise about the way these interpretations are used, is that it gives the outright excuse for people not to succeed. They can now point their fingers at the cause of their failures. They’re fated! That’s sheer lazyness if you ask me.

What if you want a more contemporary spin on your own abilities to create your fortune? The Law of Attraction rides to the rescue – yet again. Your thoughts and your vibes will get you that future. Work with these energies of the universe and you can be the creator of your universal future. Simple quantum physics at work. But listen up as I want to tell you a very short but important tale.

Don’t doubt the power of positive affirmations. Its powers have been well used and well documented. Your happiness, well-being and success in life is determined as much by the thoughts you hold in your own subconscious mind as on the people that surround you and circumstances you find you find yourself in. Make your own fate. By constantly reinforcing all the positive in your life, you can make your own reality. Carry “Rich” in your mind and become rich! Carry “Lucky” all the time in your heart and become lucky!

How To Create And Therefore Create Your Luck

It boggles my mind that so many people feel totally confused about how to move forward. And this, despite being given the best training and guidance on developing their own future. So, here’s an example of how you can get into creating your future. It’s not exhaustive. God knows, there are infinity ways to carry this out.

1) Find the Dream You Love
You must have had a dream once. When you were a child, or perhaps, an event made you desire something so much it almost hurts. That’s often a huge dream and possibly many years away. “It is a dream, but how do you get there?” Once you have such a thought, you will never achieve it. This dream must make you happy each time you think about it regardless of the situation. You are in love with it. But how do you get within it’s reach?

2) Make Your Own Journey
Plan it! Step by step. But how do you know where to go? Faith, belief and know that you’ll get there. Be aware of what is going to come your way. Your ‘radar’ will tell you which direction you are heading. Sounds almost mad. It was to me, at first. But then I realized this universe, this world we all live in responds to my thoughts (as it would yours), as I think about what I want in deep desire and great love. Yes. You must be in love with it. When your steps are thought of as a step closer to your dream, you will achieve that goal. Your steps are your goals. You can literally plan them out one at a time. You’ll love it.

3) Make Leaps Of Faith For Your Journey
It’s amazing what a little more faith will do for your confidence. Create your initial small steps and your believe will rocket upwards. The more successes you have, the further you will leap. Your plans; your steps become longer and wider. This speeds up your process; your journey to nirvana.

4) Stormy Weather
Every journey has it’s pitfalls. Remember that. But this is a journey many have taken. Like the Silk Road is always an adventure, the path is well worn. Have faith and you will get through it. Of course, time and again, I have said that difficulties are merely redirections to get you back on track. The Silk Road is a route to riches but filled with brigands, storms, illness and terrible weather. But the prize makes it all worth the blood, sweat and tears.

5) Recognise and Follow The Guiding Light
Find the one or the few who have what your dreams are and who resonate with you; then follow their lead. Stray not from the well worn path. Each time I followed, my mentors, I went forth in leaps and bounds more easily. Each time I tried to recreate the road, I fell back. Imagine, why carve your own mountain path when there is one already made for you to traverse? Follow that guiding light. They are the goals, the steps to your dreams.
