This statement helped me win regularly. Andrew Carnegie said one thing that I treasure every day. He said put all your eggs in one basket and prevent anyone else from upsetting it. Yet at odds with this super wealthy man’s wisdom financial advisers in all their decades of schooling advice us all to leave our eggs exposed to anyone who tramps on them. The result must be many of us must be so tired of waiting for that miraculous golden egg. Again for what seems forever many of us must have tried to find that mythical goose to have our daily golden egg.

Put all your eggs in one basket to focus your energies on your endeavour for success.
Organise All Your Resources To Focus
Having all your eggs in one basket appears to be at odds with conventional wisdom. But the truth is that convention has cost me many years of investment losses. Worse, because I had been unfocussed on the one thing I should be, I found it hard to progress at all. Does that sound like most of us every day? It should.
Spreading your investment money widely is the best example of what to do to lose money. The reason is because it is impossible to focus your resources which are your love for that investment category. A really experienced, competent and honest financial manager told me his best open secret which is to invest only in the financial categories which are making money. Yes, he switches investments often but his clients make much more than the typical investor. Hence I asked him to put all my eggs in one basket.
But this is a rampant situation in whatever we endeavour to accomplish. We all know we become masters of the juggling act of multi-tasking. But we accomplish nothing with any gusto and speed. I have learnt to put as much of my available resources which mainly include my mental focus on one important thing at a time. Yes, I basically put all my investment in thought, time and whatever else I can swing at it. But, these things get done in record time.
I am not saying that you avoid the basic necessities of living because these are a part of making the endeavour work. If you’re focussing on a business project, of course no one can accomplish every single task daily. But put together a priority planner and things will get done on a priority basis in record time.
Win With Full Effort
Andrew Carnegie as one knows was one of the wealthiest men of all time. He understood the power of organising as much of your resources as possible to give what you are creating or building the best ability to succeed as fast as possible. This is the way of successful people who have demonstrated serial accomplishments. In short, they know how to win.
Part effort in any endeavour always result in uncertain development. Even if the resources of money and materials committed are massive, it does not change the result. Only when there is massive effort in thought, guidance and management will there be the spectacular accomplishment.
Super wealthy successful people have developed the habit of focus on one thing at a time. They will guide it until it can run on its own with occasional guidance to make sure all is well. In fact, that initial focus of resources is what builds the necessary foundations for the future success.
Today, one of the very best example and person to emulate who puts all his efforts on one project at a time is Mr. Li Ka Shing. He is the Chairman of Hong Kong Bank, Cheung Kong, Hutchison Whampoa and also of a number of container shipping and building companies worldwide.
