The emotional guidance scale should be viewed and understood as a hierarchy through a huge divided range of descriptions of emotions. This becomes confusing at first. But read through it and you will understand it really makes a lot of sense. The bottom of the emotional scale describes what creates the worst feelings. At the top represent the best feelings.
Whichever list you use, make sure it makes sense and you know you can work with it. Use and trust your feelings. The Abraham Hicks Emotional Guidance Scale is a simplified but usefully comprehensive one compared to one that can be pulled out from a dictionary with hundreds of words to describe the range of emotions. Number seven to one in the list represents the good emotions. The rest are considered the bad side of emotions. So, one is best and twenty two is worst.
The rationale is to get yourself to as high as possible from where ever you are at any time. Your task when using the scale is to feel better all the time. Let’s say you’re at number two which is passion. You want to get to number one and the best of emotions where joy, appreciation, empowered, freedom and love reside. But let’s say you are at twenty one with guilt, getting to jealousy is really a relief. Then you next task is to get higher up on the scale and feel better and better; and so on. Here’s the list below. Control your emotions. Feel happier.
