Emotional Hell Comes Home

You may know of someone who casts the fearsome pall of an emotional hell when he or she comes home. This person can instantly instil the power of fear into everyone at will. Even dogs whimper with their tails between their legs and cats hiss and saunter quietly away. How this person developed this immense power is itself most interesting to understand. In fact, how awesome would this ability be if it was turned 180 degrees around?

Emotional Hell

Well, I knew of more than 1 such person. But there was one which I lived so closely with, yet, knew so little about. Yes, fear always came home with him. We all cowered away and did something regardless if we were having our meagre dinner. We always expected him to yell at someone about something, and when he does, it was still and immense shock. Our heart pulse would be racing till our heads and chests hurt. This man, we all swore as children that he had the power of the supernatural. The servants, neighbours, and anyone nearby would be fear struck each time this man appeared. His eyes bore the flames of someone never to be trifled with. He demanded respect and he got them.

I won’t go into the less than glowing details but he was also a tremendously successful businessman. He wants, he gets. We were all frightened into submission and did his bidding and more. Everyone was his minion. He thought no more or less of children, relatives, wives, neighbours or business associates. Business partners do not respect him but offered him appeasement. Such was the power of his thoughts and demonstrated through his demeanour. The power of focus was undeniable. Creation of thought was inevitable. But what power!

Angelic Power of Creation

To tell the truth, I envy this awesome ability of that man. Now, let’s turn that terrible demonic demeanour into one with an angelic trust. Now, I may have just described a person like Ghandi. Imagine someone who came home from business and he would be bearing gifts. The neighbours would smile and say hello. The servants would rush to serve his every whim and fancy. The children would likely swamp him with welcome. And of course, his dear wife is always ready to offer him the comforts of home. The dogs and cats would be out there welcoming the loving master. Associates and perhaps the politicians would be offering invitations galore.

But in comparing the two powerful people, the wise ones of the ages do tell that the power of love can cancel out the power of anger and hate. The powerful but hated business man ruled a small down. The powerful and lovingly influential Ghandi changed the course of India’s independence and much of the modern world history.

Power of Thought

All these life events are true but they are all begun through the power of thought. Now, these thoughts have immense power because the user has that incredible ability to focus on what was ultimately desired.

By the way, I can’t help but admire both their abilities. I admire them so much I actually love them. You see, hate is very much unproductive to me. Therefore I urge one and all to focus on what can work for you. Drop the hate or any such negatives. Refer to the emotional scale and you will see what I mean.

The moment you use the positivity of effort, great things can be achieved. It simply means, that the demonic person was happy doing what he did but many angry people’s emotions fell against him. Ghandi was immensely loving and nearly the whole country walked with him. Both had their time of power but I would most certainly choose to feel the power of love wherever I go as I prosper.
