In gratitude I have achieved relief in my former struggles. But in appreciation I have grown strong. My trials have been but lessons I have asked to be accomplished. In both gratitude and appreciation, I have become successful in my desires.

Gratitude and appreciation were terms so difficult to comprehend in my childhood. Difficult beginnings can last an eternity without joy. Without the feeling of happiness what emotions do gratitude and appreciation carry? But yet, my mind sought to escape this life of pain and misery. I had my dreams.
In gratitude I give thanks for the life I am living. I have won the freedom for family. I have the love I once seeked. I thank the great home I live in as I cross the doorway. Gladness fills my heart I still enjoy the sunshine with my garden flowers. I breathe, I dance, I cook and eat all I please. I drive my desirous car. I vacation in the sunny white beaches. Clients call me friend. My peaceful mind. These were but dreams once.
In appreciation I find ever more to admire. That blue diamond on display. That vault full of gold. That view of the valley from atop the mountain. Oh, yes, enjoyable is my friend’s yacht as is viewing that ocean front villa. Hey, I remember that magnificent mansion so near to me, as my mentor greeted me. Sharing the limelight and stage with my favourite presenter. For world peace and abundance in appreciation.
