Why go it alone when there’s a better way to do it far better?
Why A Buddy System Is So Effective

A Peak Performance Buddy System
You’ve often heard about the accountability that a buddy system becomes and that is the prime reason both succeed. I’ll stick my neck out and say that this is not the full explanation of why it works. You see, accountability denotes being forced to do something. Being forced means you’re doing it against your wishes.
Think about it. In a rugby scrum situation, you each and every one is backing up the other. This working together accomplishes what the single person cannot do alone. And yet, this team work allows the possibility of one person to win the game.
This is the reason that I’ve experienced and observed why a true buddy system works so magnificently when you want to build something. The more substantial it is, the more critical you have one or more buddies working with you. The pair or more of you will form a resonant bond that drives the both of you further and faster. This is where the accountability of what needs to be done, according to your stated checklist becomes fun. Success becomes a supported actuality. And yes, it becomes a mastermind.
Simple Steps Accomplishes Exponential Results
Use the following simple steps and you’ll start to experience better results.
1) It begins with you. The more determination and directed your purpose, the better your results. It means you are holding you accountable. Your buddy or buddies are your score board/s.
2) The participant/s or buddies are also doing the same thing in turns. In effect, you are all helping each other develop main objectives.
3) Absolute trust between or among the group is a must.
4) Meet regularly. It might be weekly or even daily. Do not spread the meetings too far apart. Monthly meetings may be ineffective for what you’re trying to accomplish. The more you meet, the more you’ll resonate and get to know each other. The results are that more likely to be kept to or even ahead of schedule.
5) Meeting physically is best. You’ll resonate better. But you can use a telephone conference for very regular meetings and then meet physically less regularly, perhaps once a month.
6) Keep calls short – perhaps 15 minutes each – take turns to start each session. Keep groups small – in many situations, groups of 4 to 6 work best. You’ll have a far more purposeful and directed group than a large one. Each person can have a better input and all can and will be heard and their issues more likely to be dealt with.
7) Briefly go over what you’ve successfully done; then say what you’ve failed to be on target; finally what you’ve done to fix problems. Get feedback. Remember, all of you can adjust the timing of the calls – more or less time required.
8) Epiphanies always come. Never be shy of discussing them with the group. Ask for input after that. You’ll be elated with the growth you’ll experience from this.
9) Incredibly important. Make notes as you are all talking. Use white paper and blue ink and take notes as each person talks. The power and memory of the mastermind is always enhanced with this simple task.
10) Get together and enjoy an event. Try fishing, a dinner, a home party, etc. Enjoy each other’s company. Bring family together too. This step is often dismissed as a waste of time. It can’t be stated with more importance that this regular enjoyable get-togethers form the basis of your vibrations and bonds. Like minds think alike that sort of thing… if you understand.
Enjoy your peak performances and prosper. You will find that what was once your peak performance two months ago will be surpassed as you develop your buddy system.
