Dedicated to the Personal Development challenged kids.

And that means you who still remember your Mums but not her advice. If you find déjà vu, a twinge of guilt must follow too. Never mind. You see, the beauty of self growth is that you can develop yourself all the time. If you miss Mum’s words of wisdom now, that’s understandable. After all, we were kids once too.

Mum Gives Personal Development Tips

Sometimes Mums’ advice are sort of listened to, then sort of applied, but usually totally forgotten. Can you remember all of your Mum’s advice? The “Yes” people are lying. No one can. But at least you can develop your own and then give them to your kids who will repeat the cycle.

You may ask what Mum’s advice has to do with personal development and life. I’ll make a quick explanation and you can judge for yourself. One great benefit is you will learn personal growth from your Mum. For your benefit if you want them, here are 7 personal development tips from BizMum.

The 7 Personal Development Tips

1) Eat your vegetables.

Without constipation, you can enjoy your food better. And you can avoid being that grouch. Your relations are more enjoyable because you are far more comfortable.

They often don’t taste so good but are good for you – veggies are scientifically proven to be a balance to meat with all the vitamins, minerals and digestive enzymes. Of course veggies of all types are not built the same, so check them out. This is really about getting the right kinds of nutrition for more optimal health. Kids and grown ones who eat a lot of veggies don’t get ill that often it seems. Also you go to the washroom more often and more easily. Your food is better digested too. That means less of that toxic stuff in you.

2) Bathe every day.

Removes parasites (yikes!), dead skin (ugh!), removes body odour (eew!), balance your body temperature (phew!). You want to look fresh and nice to be with, don’t you? Your boss, girl or boy friend, and everyone else find you more pleasing.

3) Wash your hands each time you use the toilet.

Removes the possibility of eating your own or someone else’s pooh! Besides, you don’t want to leave a bad and nasty impression on someone else do you? What if someone finds out? Your reputation will be in the toilet.

This piece of advice came from the times when diseases like cholera were rampant. But do it anyway. Science reveals this is the number one way we all get ill from flu, colds, parasites, and about a million other infections.

4) Dress warmly when going out.

Dumbo! You won’t look cool. You’ll be cold or frozen. Your brain or mouth can’t seem to converse very well. Your extremities will be too cold to be warmly receptive…just ask your girlfriend.

The cold itself does not make you catch cold but your body will go into a kind of shock with your breathing acting up (mucous starts to form) and worse, your immune system starts to weaken. Ever wonder why you start to get sick more easily after getting chilled? Cold people have poorer performances.

5) Go to bed!

Your choice – be attentive and alert or fall asleep during your boss’ billion dollars project planning session.

You need enough sleep to perform your best and to avoid accidents and illness too -all scientifically proven too. You will avoid being known as the accident prone grouch. Kids are known to grow healthier and of sounder mind and body with enough good sleep. You can control your emotions better.

6) Eat balanced meals regularly.

Food again! You want to be known as that well built so and so. The girls too! No aneroxia diets! Become that athlete, beauty queen or simply have that glow of a well fed kid.

No, not to get fat on, but properly balanced meals for your nutritional type. Yes eating balanced meals (get proper nutrition prevents disease and gives you better vitality) and on time (prevents you getting stomach ulcers, diabetes like shocks, adrenaline rushes, etc).

7) Listen to Mum and give and get a hug a day at least.

It’s about love. You’ll be welcomed everywhere when you are known to be that wonderful caring and loving person. Or maybe you prefer to be tossed out of parties and become a bored police officers next target?

Giving and receiving love with an open and carefree expression offers the world a glimpse at the real you. How do you want to be known? In fact, you won’t be a mamma’s boy or the girl still hanging on to Mum’s skirts. You’ll be known as a strong, well balanced and courageous person.

It’s All For Your Own Good!

It’s all wisdom. Do what Mums try to tell you with growing up well in mind. You’ll develop well in mind, body and spirit to give you a leg up for a good lifestyle you’ll want to have. This is Mum’s way of giving you personal development advice. It’s a practice makes perfect. I’m a Mum so listen up and do what Mum says!
