Each and every one of us has a particular genius. A few of us actually have the right circumstances to display their genius at a very young age as a young protégé or child genius we call them. What it is for most of us usually takes some searching. It may be so that someone you know advises you to go into a type of work. Social sciences try to pigeon hole you with a system of testing. But I find the most profound discovery is of the self. Some say that this is accidental but I always believed that this genius that you find yourself to work best at is the actual one for you. Your mind body and dare I say your very soul intended it that way?

Dare You Be A Genius?
The very first time I knew that we all have special abilities or gifts of some kind, was when I was very young. As a child we often have a very innocent perspective on life. We view people also in a non-judgemental way and therefore can see what their best talents appear to be. You see, as adults we want our kids to do this that and the other. Most of these kids are forced away to do other things and they are mainly not what they love or are great at. Survival comes first and as children grow up, they never visit that childhood dream again. That becomes their life-long regret.
However, once in a while you hear the stories of grown-ups talk about what their dreams were as a child and they are now living it. There were kids who dreamt of being a fireman and they have, little doctors became grown up ones, and even politicians sometimes tell of their wish to lead people when they were in kindergarten.
Appreciate their stories because they are living their dream. Somewhere along the way, many will tell of doing things they have no wish to. They may be sweeping roads or being a waiter just to pay for tuition. But, dreams can become true when they always believed that they will become what they set out to be. They dream it every day. They dared and they made their dreams come true.
Being The Genius
If you dared become and live your genius, you already know this. But if you have the sneaky suspicion that you haven’t become the person your mind body and soul can declare that you are one in your calling, then you may want to listen. I listened to a wiser person than I and now I still thank her. You see, the genius is not what some great organisation tells you that you are. Princeton University can create tests to show you are great at some things or not. Mensa is supposed to bring out the mental geniuses of our time. But none of them can ever tell when someone will become that super wealthy person or that super genius builder of a nation.
There is no test that can actually tell you what you appear to be scoring high in some things therefore this is what you are meant to be. It helps to be proficient in some aspects of life but that most certainly cannot tell where your feelings are. In fact, I was glad to learn of the law of attraction and let the universal energy find my genius. That’s because my own feelings for a certain lifestyle simply drew what was best for me into my life journey. And yes, it was totally different from what I had been taught to do to make an income and to live.
I remember the first time I got into helping others heal themselves. I found it most invigorating like it was a game I could play in life. This came without the guilt that had been driven into my psyche since childhood. I naturally did what I am good at. Of course it doesn’t end there. One thing leads to another and I do far more than heal something or someone. It was but a talent. A measurable genius but I am meant for something much, much bigger. From a simple show of talent, my growth accelerated and I also realised helping others to heal really came from each person’s accepting of the self. Then there are other aspects to a happy life like eating food as it was meant to be; fresh and raised right.
Now being the genius is like watching that amazing guy on the news who built an internet company and is now a billionaire. He admitted that he didn’t know squat about financing any business but here he is enjoying the fruits of his labour. Then you see that guy who started from a humble hardware store and became the biggest store chain in the world. That’s their genius. They followed their ultimate dreams as it unfolded and dreamt some more. Appreciate their example and follow your dreams. What you begin to build is your genius.
