Want to live a better life? Then expect the better things in life and avoid the mediocre. If you’re feeling uncertain or confused, then let’s see if we can walk through how you feel about both. But you must be prepared to do what it takes. This is really almost entirely a choice within your mind and not what someone else or some other organisation is telling you what is and what isn’t. If you find a wall like dogma, drop the leash and you’ll find that it was around your neck all this time. You weren’t in control of your life before. All that will change for the betterment of your freedom of choice. Simply support the better things for your buck. It is but a simple change in mindset.

Expect the Better Things in Life Like Investing in Diamonds
Drop the Mediocre
Deliberately drop the practices of anything that smacks of being mediocre. But what would anyone consider mediocre? It’s simpler than you think it might be. First of all you want the better things in life right? Then very likely, if you feel somehow short-changed by whoever and whatever you buy your services from, then start looking for better, value for money alternatives. For example, you should be asking why local banks and the stock market are offering you returns at less than inflation or worse, then you may find that some overseas investment yields much more appealing.
There are many things people consume that are really truly mediocre being touted as state of the art or simply the status quo. That, my friends is mostly deception. Perhaps the most common culprit is food. Everyone knows some of the most widely advertised of them. Unless you live on the moon you can’t miss them. Do you check what you’re really getting? Is it real viable nutrition or just a whole lot of preservative laden junk? Food that are really poison carrying organisms are also damaging to your health. These are cheap to buy but at what cost down the road?
Start with your thinking process and you will begin to observe things differently that are better for you. Have you checked out some other products like the microwave oven and why they have been banned in Russia for so many years? Are electric cars really better for the environment considering the massive manufacturing resources required for them? Are automobiles more damaging to the environment or why are the power generating plants, air planes and shipping combined not even looked at?
Expect to Have Better Things
Value for money is better bang for your buck which includes many things you may not have been aware of. You must look further down the road. Think about eating the right foods that truly give you far better health than others which damage you. Which one saves you money and leaves you more productive in the long run. I’ll take organically grown food any day. They are more expensive initially to buy but then I can avoid more of those doctor visits and over the counter drugs.
When buying a car, do you think of what you want and what this car will mean for you? Think about it. Perhaps you want to save money for the next several years. Then buy a car which is small, easy to maintain and extremely reliable. Forget the fashion statement for the time being. Then when you’ve made the bucks, buy that super fantastic dream generating automobile. Granted, you want a great fashion statement. If that makes you more money for the attention you generate, then go for it. But buy great quality. Even in that super luxury segment, there are lemons and there are greats.
It’s a great habit to have. When you expect to have better things in life, you begin to look forward to and do what it takes to generate all the good things in life. That include the money you need to make to support that kind of lifestyle. The people you associate with also become likeminded in wealth. The businesses and the organisations you work with are also likely to change for the better. And now, of course, let’s always include the extreme fun factor. Life on the beaches of the world becomes your new normal.
Now, isn’t it just great fun to expect to turn up your life expectancy up a couple of notches? Think about it all the time. You want to stay in the premium hotels, you can and do. You want to go on the most outlandish holidays, you can afford them. You expect your family and friends to love and respect you, they do. Your kids become their wealthy selves. Now, what else can you do to alleviate world hunger and poverty? You can get together with your powerful friends as you go through life and you do. It all begins with expecting the best.
