Here’s a little secret to validate success I have come to accept and know to be the absolute truth. Happiness is your success gauge in everything you do. I say this because the main reason is because I have experienced and have this statement validated over and over again.

Successful People Are Happier

What Does Your Success Gauge Say About Your Happiness

Each time I say this to a group, there are people who nod their heads, there are those who frown and disbelieve immediately.

There are also significantly fewer people who say yes to this idea that being happy helps. It’s about a positive attitude that they always have that things will work out fine, no matter the circumstances. It simply means they are always thinking their projects will come out fine and they do. Their success is often measured in how happy they are with their projects or circumstances. They become confident that no matter how difficult situations might become, events always turn for the better. Successful people always appear to have a string of successes.

On the other hand, people who disagree with this statement are the vast majority and have never understood success. So they claim how can they ever know success is tied to happiness? Well, a chicken or egg question, but the answer is really what their priorities are.

So, it appears that successful people who have success are typically happy. But more importantly, successful projects have happy people running them. So, how important is it that anyone who has the intention of being creative or starting any project, it’s their attitude that counts. The thinking of being successful with confidence so that you are happy that it will succeed is paramount for success.

“I am happy with the result in my own experience”

When you can say the above statement, you are a happy and successful person. Whether you understand it or not, you use happiness with what you do in your life a success gauge.

You say, “I see the result benefitting me. I am willing to recognize that it is working for me in my constant daily activities, in all areas of my mental health, physical health and emotional health.”

“I see, experience the feeling of being satisfied in my inner peace and harmony. I have love within myself which allows me to focus on my feelings around my environment. It becomes easier to focus on relationships and achievements.”

How does being able to affirm these things to yourself make you feel? Be honest with yourself. If you are already there then I congratulate you. If not, then this is just on your to do list.

Validation of Happiness By Successful People

The people in my life who most validate happiness as one’s success gauge are firstly my mentors. They cannot be moved from this conviction. It’s easy to see their point. They are always happy even when things appear grim. That’s their habit. And the results of their habit of looking on the bright side always pay off.

The next validation is of course my own experience. This is necessarily the most expressive and memorable. Coming from the kind of life I did and being here and now, gives me goose bumps.

Then of course, there are the people all around me who have crossed my path and shared our happy experiences. Our mindset always seem to jive well.

And yet, I still see people whose desired results are already there but have somehow been sidetracked into negativity. They are so busy with the process that they can cripple their endeavours. Some lose confidence and are led into thinking they still need to achieve their dreams, but sometimes it is already there and simply unaware of it. All they need to do is to be happy and they will see their success.
