Time to have some serious fun. Check out these thoughts and check off what you are always positive about and see if you have any counter thoughts that defeat all those good things you are striving for. Use this as a starter list and add to it.
1) An official letter with a cheque for you but you fear it’s a bill.
2) When finding parking in a busy mall, you know you are getting one right in front but doubt you’ll ever get one.
3) Everybody including you is excited about buying the office pooled lottery but you keep thinking it’s fun but there’s no way to win.
4) From a distance you see someone fall off a cliff (but you keep saying oh, no he’s dead, oh, no he’s dead) into the water…
5) You left plenty of time for travel to an important meeting and it felt good. But you kept telling yourself you might be late, so you take a detour and run into a massive traffic jam.
6) You take your family on a trip in the expectation of fun but pray that nothing goes wrong all the time.
7) You make an offer to buy a wonderful house you feel is fantastic but you keep telling yourself you won’t get it; it’s too good to be true. Of course you’re right.
