Eplosive voices in your mind argue with you. They always counter you with negative ideas of failure to your best laid plans. They attack you with negative words after you have just completed some great positive work. Then you find yourself arguing with that voice.
Great Voices

Many Voices in Your Mind
It’s like a battle of the Titans was taking place within your mind. You can hear their rumblings. The voices generate more angry voices. Fright and dominance. Heck, you can even see them!
The Hydra is in your Head! The mythological multi-headed monster sometimes appears to be real inside your head. But one thing scares you even more. All those angry voices are real! They’re in your head and screaming in your ears. No, I’m not talking about schitzofrenia. That dreaded socially stigmatized condition.
Voices Are Normal but Powerful
I am talking about this thing that is actually quite normal in our lives. Admit it to yourselves. We’ve all been through it. Remember the pros and cons arguments that drove you to the bar? Remember making your marriage proposal, guys and gals? That court case, the exam papers, the love argument, and so many more right down to the choice of soap. We all give ourselves self-talk. Sometimes it becomes a yelling match. If you don’t check if brains have become solid rock.
Many Personal Development teachers tell of “the Tennis Match” within your head. This is a simple but safe description, but it lacks the true emphasis of what it is and the impact it has on our lives. They do fear that the medical community may consider an impactful mental event as an illness. You know, that’s b.s. Imagine, you are forced to use all your judgement, all your fight or flight responses and anything else you can muster while the voices in your head are screaming at you. You may be escaping a force 5 hurricane, or a car crash, or a sinking boat, a robbery, a gang fight, or escaping a raging river. Then you may be fighting a case in court or in a middle of a powerful debate. Are you considered crazy then?
All of us go through something traumatic or defining in our lives. And no, because of that we are most certainly not ready for drug or psychological therapy. So, why are so many people fearful of expressing themselves more? You see, you can use all that power in your mind to do powerful stuff already mentioned.
Keep Your Mind Filled With Positive Thinking
“Empty vessels make the Most (Common) Noises.”
What are you; hearing now, during most of the day or especially when your mind is idle?
I’ll wager it’s not all positive is it? But that can be changed and in fact, used to advantage. What you can do is simple, but can take tremendous concerted and consistent effort – at first.
The best way to keep from hearing noises you don’t want is to fill your head with the stuffings you prefer.
Try these:
1) Self talk to yourself in your mind about the good things you like.
2) Discuss the events of the day positively.
3) Talk with your spiritual mentors.
I’ll guarantee all or the three suggestion work wonders to quell that noisy mind. You see, all you really need to do is to fill out idle times with good vibes. The good voices you like from your favourite singer or teacher of personal development. Think of things you love. Talk good things to yourself. Read your great personal development story, or write it. You’ll develop such a powerful habit for a positive mental attitude.
