Seeing the familiar barbed wires from so long ago just like yesterday brought a feeling of being caged. But this time I must win. I must win friends. I’ve lived such a lonely life. I must at least win this battle to free my two little friends from that prison. Was that just a dream?
I Dream of Freedom With Friends
Win Friends
A prison camp is the last place you’d expect to find little children, but that was a life so long ago and far away. It had a huge impact of loneliness upon much of my life. The dusty and arid desert far from any town and even the sight of aid that may have come our way kept us so isolated. The loneliness.
In those dreams I desired to rescue my little friend and bring him far away into a world of joy and wonder. We became golden eagles, the symbols of wealth and power, and flew away to our new life of total freedom together.
Make Friends But Avoid Making Enemies
Who on this earth hasn’t had people who take issue with you helping to make life better for others? There are always that little misunderstanding or jealousy or what else have you.
In this instance, in saving some people some time and money, some opportunists were shut out of some potential sales. But these services, were really useless and do nothing to help these young adults looking to grow their business. Of course, I made friends of these young folks but at the same time much anger arose from would be profiteers.
Initially, I had the great urge to confront these uncaring people and give them a piece of my very angry mind. But fireworks helps no one. Instead, I held out an olive branch. I soon discovered they were also feeling a little guilty about offering their service to these unknowing young people in my class.
They too, agreed that despite their bosses, perhaps a long term approach offering these young entrepreneurs future services might be the better way to go. In fact, I sweetened the deal by offering them some free advertising space on the public section of the location that they had not known. Hey, actually I made some more friends this way and some possible future clients too.
Importance of Friends
Dreams are often prophetic and they come often as a message from your higher self into your mind to deal with the issues being dealt with during the day. This time, it is about making friends. Or rather, this time to win friends over rather than make potential enemies of them.
True friends are with you for life. A frequent traveler may at times encounter some old friends who have local knowledge and can be ever so willing to show you a great time. In business, close associates or club friends will offer each other help as well as offering business to each other before the general public.
Make a friend of a stranger in need and you’ll never know who may be watching. The watchers may soon offer you much more than you’d ever expect in the form of business or some kind of service.
Universal Friend
The universe operates in strange ways. You expect to make friends everywhere you go and the universe responds by bringing you friends from the most unlikely sources.
Case in point. In helping a young man down on his luck and caught in the never ending daily grind of never having enough to get by, I had generated business for him and myself. Putting him on his feet helped not only him, but also his firends and a close family member. It also then made a great addition to my income. Yet, my intention only began in wanting to help him see a different path to a better life.
I mentioned this case not to crow about it. But I dare say I am proud to have paid attention to the universe. You see, our paths crossed when I required some heavy lifting help and he had offered it. He made a friend in me first. I reciprocated with what he wanted and needed.
