Business or personal issues are usually dealt with more effectively with the power of gratitude. And I mean true gratitude in the most heartfelt way. Powerful vibes come from that. And it all appears to work time and time again. I’ll tell you a couple of real life situations that I’m sure you can relate to their successful and powerful implementation.

Power of Personal Gratitude

Power of Gratitude

When the world speaks of gratitude, we often think of giving thanks after receiving a gift. That’s a great example for gratitude, but the much more powerful one is about getting something that you’ve wanted simply because you loved it. This person was partially disabled but her heart was bigger than her disability. Because of frail health, she would sometimes collapse while helping others. But she loved helping out young people survive their difficult lives. She would always be dreaming of the time when she could go for a week or two of warm weather during the cold, harsh Canadian Winters. She was the person who was always thanking organizations and people for allowing her to work with the youths.

I guess, you could say she may have spoken out loud or that the walls have ears but she was chosen from many thousands of volunteers to go on a sunny week of “training” in nice, sunny and warm location far from Toronto. Of course, this R and R did her a world of good. Needless to say her spirits lifted immeasurably. She returned with glowing cheeks, a nice tan, about a million photos and was chirping away like a bird set free. Well, Hollywood was certainly wonderful for her.

When I asked the organizers why she was selected, their answer was because, “Many volunteers do great work but she was always making others feel much better about themselves. We are only returning the gratitude she had given us all.”

Power of Gratitude For Business Success

Some say this is an expensive way to do business. I have come across too many examples of businesses, big and small that have gained tremendous followings simply because they have become known to be thankful to their clients. Otherwise, their relationships with clients appear to be that of gratitude. They always tell their clients it is because of them that they continue to be successful.

These are the businesses that people actually love. Recall the brands like Apple for example. It’s one of the most well loved brands in the corporate world. They constantly remind people that they have their ‘wants’ in mind and design great products to cater to those desires. And how! Have they succeeded?

Small businesses or business people who have taken the trouble of remembering to send their past clients holiday and birthday cards often retain much of the business. But better yet, the goodwill spreads and the friends of their clients often become their clients too. Nice.

Kids’ Gratitude

So, take it from kids who know how to butter up Uncle Joe or Grandma for those bicycles or that Nintendo. A neighbor was just musing about having bought his nephew a full X-Box system with something with that guitar and a hero. Yes, his name was Joe.

Everyone loves to be given credit for the celebration of another. Give in joy, get in joy. These vibes are so powerful. You’ll get more of it.
