Education is incomplete. Reach out and offer your experience. That helping hand you give goes a very long way. What goes around will come around. The youths especially are very much at a loss these days as the economy and knowledge base accelerates ever faster. It is people, such as entrepreneurs who are at the forefront of that learning experience.

Community Volunteer, Reach Out a Helping Hand
Be a mentor to someone who is in need of some new knowledge that works. If you’ve exprienced what works, offer that benefit to the next person who hasn’t yet done so. You’re not giving the store away. To the contrary, you will gain that person’s respect for many years to come. And when this person or a friend can one day afford your service, you will be at the forefront of that mind you once helped.
Help your employees progress. The better that employee performs, the more likely he or she can get more income as your business rises. And you’ll find allies rather than opponebts. Emplyee efficiency is critical for profitability and the reduction of costs in anything you do. Imagine employees taking twice the man hours to complete a project. You lose on salaries, on customer satisfaction and operating costs. Will you go bankrupt?
Mentor your child. It’s surprising how often parents actually mistakenly rely only on school teachers to take on that role. Parents must be role models as you invariable become. So, take the responsibility to be the best mentor you can be. Read, learn and experience the great things in life and give that self same experience to your children. They will know to pass it all on to theirs and you will too benefit as you all grow together as a powerful family.
Be The Community Leadership
Any community is always in need of leadership. There will always be the checks and balances of the good bad and ugly ones. Hopefully, the good become great leaders and the later two only describes their looks. Take it upon yourself to reach out to those you see who need a guiding hand. Why wait to be asked?
It is so important to know that if you are witness to someone or an organization in need of something you can offer, it is what you have been looking to offer and they have been asking, but do not know how to approach you, the observant.
I have offered my services to organizations who are always in need of volunteers, coaches, instructors and most of all mentors to their youth clients getting their new businesses off the ground. The YMCA of Greater Toronto is such an organization. And if you should have something to offer, you will be most welcomed.
