Growing up, we strived to disown our childhood. Can’t wait to be all grown up could we? But then as some of us have learnt, we lost our sense of fun and enjoyment. Perhaps a second childhood is a pretty good idea, that is, when we tried being kids the second time around. Man, isn’t life so much fun?
Fun in Childhood

Kids Enjoying Being Kids, and the Adults, well...
Whoever said, “… as moms we spend most of our time civilizing our little savages” ought to take second look at themselves. Overheard: as a little boy was refusing to put on his shoes and his mum’s blood vessels was starting to pop, the little guy stopped long enough to sob, “Can you just say ‘please’? I’m someone too!”
Warm hugs are fun.
I remember my little ones when we hug. They are so thrilled their toes and feet do that wiggle that only happy children do. Do you get that tingly feeling when you hug your significant other?
Excited Little Children
Hey, it’s Christmas and a birthday party everyday. The expectation of presents everyday is well, fun. That expectation in life is magical. Try it. It seems so many of our dreams can come true just by being like a child celebrating.
Cheer For Every Winner
Who cares if it is your competitor? Just keep applauding and cheering him or her on. Showing this appreciation and others are watching. You know what? I’ve been surprised by the encouragement and cheering of my competitors because they said, “You’re such a good sport…” Hey, isn’t it great to have a competitor become an ally?
Ask questions.
No, curiosity will not kill you. In fact, when you ask questions, you are demonstrating you are interested in what you are asking about. In fact, the most successful and smartest people in the world ask alot of questions. In fact, you’ll be known as a very clever and upstanding person because you asked questions, for example in a seminar or after a speech. Imagine if this was the Prime Minister speaking well of you.
Honesty.
This is really being honest with yourself. It means if you know you’re heading off into the wrong direction, drop your pride and get back on the path. It’s also acknowledging if you’re wrong and made mistakes, you’re taking responsibility and doing what it takes to overcome the error and become even stronger and achieving far more than ever.
Live in the moment.
Ok. So you get silly and start playing with your friend or perhaps some kids. You become one of the kids too. Ever see a bunch of guys simply having some goofy fun with each other? How about the ladies doing their girl thing and laughing till you’re all helpless on the floor? That’s living like you haven’t got a care in the world but for now, you LIVE! Just like the kids are doing.
