In this elitist world of government, giant old mega corporations and ‘do what we tell you or else!’ can you say “I belong to ‘my’ tribe”? If you’re sick and tired of the tiresome status quo, then you must have been doing something about it by now. Go where you find the pleasures that offer you dignity, recognition and fun. Have you become a Rebel, still living in ignorance, or have you gone Tribal?
Ignorance Is Bliss
Sad to say but still more alarming to observe is that most people are still floating around and not looking for an identity. They live blissfully in ignorance. The reasons are many but the effect is best illustrated by this cliché: “If you’ve ever watched a live frog being cooked”. You’ll get up jumping and screaming about how you’re realising you’re slowing basting in your own juices.
A frog is thrown into a pot of cold water. It remains inside as the water heats up until it boils. Yet the frog often makes no attempt to escape until it is too late. But try to throw a frog into hot water and it will know something’s gone wrong. Take a second look at your life and what your world is becoming with you in it. You’ll know something is very wrong
Another Rebel Is Born
A Tribe Being Built From Dissatisfaction. They Want A Better Lifestyle.
To have the world you live in to be ‘your’ world, means everything to you. It’s your life; your ideals. If the familiar becomes compromised, you fight against whoever dares to rip you out of your rights. The idyllic is now the cause for a battleground. Thus you seek out the ones responsible and make your point well known. But, you are accused of being a non-conformist. They are indeed powerful.
Everywhere you carry your battle to they are there to point their weapons upon you. “Surrender you cur and conform”. Yes, you’re totally outnumbered and the world you thought you knew has guarded walls surrounding it.
The media by and large will pooh, pooh your protestations and simply use media based Psycho–analysts to proclaim you less than a desirable of society. You’re now branded as belonging to a sub-culture of society. Designed to be extremely demeaning and not worth taking seriously, you have become marginalised and considered dumb enough to be pitied.
In fact, the way often used to deal with these rebels who protest openly and scream out loud that society has put them down, is to give them more of what makes their suffering worse. More drugs are offered. As if the street drugs and stuff are not bad enough, they get extremely toxic mind control drugs and other even more dangerous substances. It’s amazing that good wholesome food, one of the reasons of major rebellions throughout history, is not even considered. Well, yes, cheap and often sub-standard food-stuffs are offered…and I haven’t even scratched the surface of the indignities and the many places in the world these things occur.
The so called ‘civilised western world’ has huge numbers of the homeless on the streets and out in the open countryside. They are often simply swept under the rug. But far worse in impoverished regions of continents like Africa have huge numbers of indigenous peoples starve, die of famine or disease, deliberately created civil wars and openly declared warfare. You see them on television when charitable agencies ask for alms. Yet, the travesty is that real wealth and the wealthy have the power to fulfil their basic needs if they so wish. The cities and the developed parts of the world have more than enough resources. You’ll also be surprised that much of Africa does not starve but thrive and roll around in real developed wealth and resources.
My World As A Tribe
Wonder of wonders why would anyone who is living within the throes of a dying society with friends, neighbours, and family bother to ask for help. It’s no wonder that protests of their pain is too loud and too clear to ignore. Why fear them? Is it because they have what the elite rich in government, corporate interests want or is it because they are unwanted? Yes, eventually, they will stand up and be counted among the dignified.
Since they cannot belong to any other society to their satisfaction, they form their own tribe. They stand for something they believe and love. Among those dissatisfied who still live within the safety net of the main society, many will take that lead and follow. Many more will form their own tribe and find their very own selves, their very own identities.
Long past living in ignorance and beyond the rebel you have decided to belong is being better than not. What you stand for means everything to you. The world you prefer is now melded in a group of like minded people. You belong to a tribe.
Beyond The Hypnotic Cooking Frog
From where you sit, you read, write and can still make your decisions – you can think. It is that very decision that takes you out of your hypnotic cooking frog state. Realise what is happening around you. If you find that your very life and lifestyle is being dictated by the powers that be, then you may want to stop believing the media and falsehoods disguised and ‘everybody does this and knows this’ syndrome and start being discerning for yourself.
If the frog actually feels the pain of being in a boiling pot of water it will jump to freedom in an instant. Do you yet feel that pain of being underachieving? You know you’re still being in that stuck position in your life and not know why or how or whatever question you may ask. It’s time to choose. You have tools at your disposal that were once used to control you. Now, you control it. Remember, it’s a tool. Tools bend to the will of their users.
Many, many people have already started blazing trails throughout history. Therefore you can too. You may have joined Face Book but feel controlled by the constraints and rules. Work with it. Relative newcomers who appear to be rebels like Paris Hilton or Kim Kardasian have created billion dollar industries around themselves. They have broken the big corporate and establishment rules. And of course, these beauties don’t look anything like frogs but have millions of people following them on the social networks and even Twitter. They lead their Tribes because they declare what they stand for. They epitomise in their own ways as being rebels who have become a tribal leader. Isn’t it time you found your individuality and express your very own freedom, not dictated by old restrictive protocols?
