Get to where you can see from here then you can see farther. There, is the enlightenment on the horizon. This is a simple but true wisdom from the universe. That’s mainly because in trying to find the ultimate source of this truth, I found it was really passed down through the ages.

Enlightenment Over the Horizon
Lack of Trust
The lack of trust blinds many of us. This is not to say leap before you look. But simply to trust in your soul as you journey by taking that very first step. What stops us? In a word, trust. Insufficient trust leads to fear. The horizon always seem to far away. Beyond that is the fear of falling off the ends of the earth.
But what happens when you have the knowledge of books and mentors to tell you where to go? Will you still trust yourself to embark upon your journey? Sadly, the answer is a very firm no in most situations.
I belabour this point to hopefully gain you some understanding about what stops us. It is really the lack of trust in our own abilities. You see, someone else may already know that you are ready to take on certain tasks. For example, a golfer does extremely well under coaching, but under the pressure of competion nerves or really the lack of self confidence more often than not betrays their true abilities. They lose their game.
See Farther
When you have reached as far as your mind can take you, you will have gained the knowledge to see farther than the horizon which limits your view. That is the miracle of trust in yourself. One could say they are not Columbus nor have his adventurous nature.
Champions think differently. Yes, of course like everyone else, they train practice and work at their chosen game in life endlessly. But they see their name in lights. They visualize their journey beyond that horizon and will not stop until they reach beyond the beyond.
The true successes reach their horizon and trust in themselve to go even farther to reach the next apparent limit so that they may go beyond. That is the way of excellence.
Obstacles Are Blessings
And because they cover so much ground the most successful people encounter most obstacles. But they do not dwell long upon obstacles. The champions of industry or life successes use each obstacle as a reason to catch their breath. It is as though they have lunged headlong as far as they can go, and then rest.
These champions are thankful for these obstacles because they become guideposts to their future. They say,” Oh, and obstacle. I don’t like this. But thank you for showing me the right way to my greater success.” Obstacle serve as signs to alter or change your direction for the best you can be.
Obstacles should be considered blessings and therefore never reviled. Therefore there is no need to dwell on a twisted ankle or a car crash for the next twenty years is there? Get over it in a hurry (in like 5 minutes will be enough time to get angry or mourn your car) and then use that as the excuse to go on to something your desire takes you. A Rolls Royce this time perhaps? This time that other driver may take notice and avoid hitting you.
