There is no one above them to pull them up nor is there a whole bunch of people who are beneath them carrying their weight. You could crow about being the lone ranger who rides again and again. It all sounds heroic. But the truth is that no one is really going to help you achieve your dream. Only you can.

Lonely At The Top
Feeling dejected? Well, join the crowd. This isn’t a very large crowd mind you. That’s because what often comes from a huge crowd of thousands of people and then only a small handful seem to walk across the stage of recognition. That’s not to say people can’t make enough to make any endeavour pay. There are any numbers of reasons why there are so few people right at the pinnacle. But it takes a special kind of resolve to get there. So think about it. So many people give up and prefer mediocrity. If you’re one of them surrendering you won’t become one at the top. However, if you’re of them getting up again and you keep going, the destination is yours.

Ever think about that? In most situations, no matter how lucrative an opportunity may be, it does not make you happy. You find something else that jives with you. Well, we all know this one. Ever since childhood most teachers, adults of all stripes and older people generally want to pull you down. That’s just so they feel superior to you. Not the easiest task to escape that society. In does take a series of supreme efforts. But the most important one begins and ends within seconds. Ten second miracle?
Fragile health slows you down only if you let it.
Yes, it’s happened. There are even fewer, but there are crippled or physically disadvantaged people. But their minds were certainly that of the greatest people on this planet. A man named Roosevelt who suffered from a paralysis caused by Polio became the president of the USA. But in many cases, fragile health also meant being in abject poverty and that is already by itself almost insurmountable for but that few. Why? Simply because they still had their eye on the ball and never stopped trying.
Getting up ten thousand times.
Stories tell of heroes suffering a thousand falls or more. However, the story teller almost always fails to mention that the hero succeeded only because he or she got up better the next time. Yes, some of us get up ten thousand times before that final step to success and then we keep running after that.
Success Is Mine
It’s a selfish declaration. But I also say that it is a statement of ownership. This successful person became so because he or she undertook the responsibility to go do it. This person grabs his own neck and shakes himself until all the cobwebs fall right off. He does anything and everything he needs to and can do to get to the top. It is often the battle no one else undertakes. Wonder why there are bosses and there are workers who meekly follow orders?
This journey is often one of extreme pain. And you know what? That pain is all his own. Yes, people who care about him will share that pain sometimes. But by and large, that is his chosen journey. It is a daily affair he boosts himself in any way he can. There are friends, master minds, inspirational videos, audios and books.
This successful person can stay mentally powerful because he has conquered his emotions. Control your emotions and you control your life. Meet a person who is mentally very strong regardless of the current circumstances and you will find a champion amongst you. Any so called bad situations at the time will be defeated in due course to become an immense asset. And that is the truth of personal success that brings you to the top.
